In this one-hour clinic, you’ll meet with a registered nurse and a clinical pharmacist prescriber to help manage hypertension (high blood pressure), lipids (cholesterol), and elevated cardiovascular risks.

DIABETES ANNUAL REVIEW

Meet with one of our trained, compassionate nurses to review diabetic health in a 30-minute appointment. You’ll discuss your medication, lifestyle, and wellbeing to help manage your diabetes.

HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PRACTIONER

Access free mental health and wellbeing support in a 30-minute appointment. A health improvement practitioner is trained to support people from all walks of life with a range of physical, social, mental, and spiritual challenges.

MINOR PROCEDURES

Our GPs are qualified in a range of minor procedures such as insertion and removal of Intra Uterine Devices, pessaries, pipelle biopsies, skin lesion excisions, ingrown nail resection, and steroid injections.

SEXUAL HEALTH

Our nurses can provide general sexual health information, test for and treat some sexually transmitted infections, and start patients with some forms of contraception in a 30-minute appointment. You can speak to your GP about more complex sexual health issues. Sexual health appointments are funded for some people.

CLINICAL PHARMACIST PRESCRIBER

Our clinical pharmacist prescribers work closely with GPs and nurses to make sure our patients are getting the best out of their medications. They can help educate patients on their medications, suggest and make changes to medication where appropriate.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT CLINIC

Our weight management clinic is evidence-based, supportive, and multi-disciplinary. You’ll first meet with your GP to consider what pathway might be right for you. You’ll then discuss your circumstances with our health coach and/or health improvement practitioner before meeting with a clinical pharmacist to support your journey of sustainable weight management.

DRIVER LICENSE MEDICALS

Turning 75 is a huge milestone. We aim to support our patients over the age of 75 to renew their driver’s license in a stress-free visit. You’ll first be assessed by a compassionate nurse or health care assistant before seeing your GP who will review the assessment and make a final decision on fitness to drive.

We also offer driver licence medicals for under 75s/commercial driver licence medicals.

FLU CLINIC

At the start of each flu season, we offer a dedicated flu clinic to help immunise as much of our community as possible. Keep an eye on our newsletters, website, and social media around the end of March for more clinic information.

RESPIRATORY CLINIC

Our nurses are trained to support and treat patients with common respiratory issues such as asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

If you’re planning an international adventure, our specialised travel nurse can provide information, recommend, and administer the right travel immunisations to suit your travel itinerary. Call or email us to get our travel planning document in advance of your travel appointment
